The book follows the residency program that the network: Det Platta Jorden – ett nätverk för konstnärligt utforskande av Skåne, conducted in 2021, where six artists were invited to artistically explore what a place can be. Through the contributions of the participating artists and invited writers, the book highlights the gap between the two- and three-dimensional notions of a place and lets the idea that a place comes into being in interaction with its surroundings be guiding.
